William George, DVM

Dr. George is passionate about his care of animals. He works hard with the pets and their owners to provide the care that is best for all involved. A 1985 graduate of The University of Illinois, he enjoys both medical and surgical challenges with a special interest in orthopedics. When he is not working at the office or around the home he likes to stay up to date on the latest developments in veterinary medicine as well as current affairs. For relaxation he enjoys drives in the country and will occasionally try his hand at a round of golf or trap. When he does get a chance to travel, he craves to go someplace warm and scuba dive.

Dr. Muur

Hi, I am Dr. Muur and I joined the Country Veterinary Service team in May 2020. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your pet family! I am a 2014 graduate of Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. I strive to create a bond with every pet I meet. I want them to love coming to Country Veterinary Service and to be excited each time they come back. Coming to the veterinarian can be a very stressful time for pets, so I work very hard to make sure they feel more comfortable with each visit.

I focus on building confidence, through education, with every client, so they can feel good about the decisions they are making for their loved ones. My husband and I have 3 awesome kids of the human kind. Our kids before kids include two Pointers, Bruce and Zoe, and a handsome tuxedo cat, Simon. I enjoy spending time with the family, doing home renovation projects, and being outside with the pups. We have been residents of the Burlington area since 2017.

Practice Manager
Hello my name is Tabitha. I started working for Country Veterinary Service as a Front Office Coordinator in May 2015. I am the mother of two wonderful little girls. I am currently going to school for medical coding and billing. Growing up I would visit family in Southern Illinois, who had a farm, and would help with all of the animals, which I truly loved doing. I enjoy working with all of the wonderful clients and pets at Country Veterinary Service. I look forward to learning all I can from Dr. George and the rest of the team. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family.

Certified Veterinary Technician
I have been a technician for 28 years. I grew up in SE Wisconsin and have lived her all my life. My home is shared with 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a variety of sheep, steers, chickens, Belgian draft horses, riding horses, and 1 mini donkey named Fanny. I enjoy working on my farm and taking Sunday afternoon drives with my horses.

Front Office Coordinator
I have always had a love for animals and dreamt of working with pets and their parents. I love getting to know our clients and their sweet fur babies. When not working, you will find me spending time with my daughter kayaking, cooking and reading, and cheering on The Bears and Cubbies.

Kim George

CVT, Social Media, Nutrition Counselor
Kim is Dr. George's wife and she has been the Practice Manager of Country Veterinary Service since May 2007. As of January 2016, she has passed those responsibilities on to the very capable Tabitha. Kim has decided to retire from those responsibilities, but will continue to work in the area of social media, and occasional nutrition counseling. She enjoys traveling, gardening, photography snorkeling, and RPG gaming, along with many other things. Kim intends to spend more time with her photography and plans to further her education in that area. Dr. George & Kim have a wonderful son, Brendan, who is a graduate of RIT and works in the gaming industry. They also have a very special & spoiled Mini Wire-Hair Dachshund named Ruthie and six Manx Cats, one of which was a rescue.

Feline Extraordinaire
Max is a Brown Mackerel Tabby DSH(domestic shorthair) and the ambassador of our clinic. He came to us in September 2012 as a stray. A staff member was outside for a break in her car, with the door open, and he jumped into her lap and almost gave her a heart attack. He was extremely thirsty and hungry and had some companions, fleas and ear mites. He was micro-chipped so we were able to find out information through the humane society about him, including that his name was Max and that he was born on June 28th 2003. It turns out he came from a mile away, straight up busy Browns Lake Drive, and survived without injury to find his forever home at Country Veterinary Service. Say hello to Max when you visit, he loves company!
