Whether your pet needs a dental cleaning, behavior counseling, acupuncture, or surgery; our team is here to provide them with the highest standard of care.

William George, DVM

Dr. George is passionate about his care of animals. He works hard with the pets and their owners to provide the care that is best for all involved. A 1985 graduate of The University of Illinois, he enjoys both medical and surgical challenges with a special interest in orthopedics. When he is not working at the office or around the home he likes to stay up to date on the latest developments in veterinary medicine as well as current affairs. For relaxation he enjoys drives in the country and will occasionally try his hand at a round of golf or trap. When he does get a chance to travel, he craves to go someplace warm and scuba dive.

Co-Practice Manager
Hello, my name is Jess. I started at Country Veterinary Service in October of 2007 and have been working in the veterinary field for the last 11 years. I have a Border Collie, Blair, and three cats, Rambo, Bob, and Little One. I really enjoy the outdoors and collecting antiques. My husband Greg and I have been married since 2011. We have a daughter, Heidi, and a son, Jackson. I look forward to meeting you and your pets here at the clinic!

Co-Practice Manager
Hello my name is Tabitha. I started working for Country Veterinary Service as a receptionist in May 2015. I am the mother of two wonderful little girls. I am currently going to school for medical coding and billing. Growing up I would visit family in Southern Illinois, who had a farm, and would help with all of the animals, which I truly loved doing. I enjoy working with all of the wonderful clients and pets at Country Veterinary Service. I look forward to learning all I can from Dr. George and the rest of the team. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family.

Veterinary Assistant
My name is Tabytha and I started working at Country Veterinary Service in July 2015 as a receptionist. I was born and raised in Cooperstown, NY. I moved to this area in June 2014 from Charleston, SC where I resided for about seven years, working with mules and horses. I live on a small five acre farm where, on my days off, you'll find me in my greenhouse tending to the vegetables or out and about with my animals, small and large. In Winter months I enjoy curling up with my Beagle Hazel, a warm blanket, a bit of hot chocolate and a good book. Other days I'll hit the slopes, snowboarding.

Feline Extraordinaire
Max is a Brown Mackerel Tabby DSH(domestic shorthair) and the ambassador of our clinic. He came to us in September 2012 as a stray. A staff member was outside for a break in her car, with the door open, and he jumped into her lap and almost gave her a heart attack. He was extremely thirsty and hungry and had some companions, fleas and ear mites. He was micro-chipped so we were able to find out information through the humane society about him, including that his name was Max and that he was born on June 28th 2003. It turns out he came from a mile away, straight up busy Browns Lake Drive, and survived without injury to find his forever home at Country Veterinary Service. Say hello to Max when you visit, he loves company!

Kim George

She enjoys traveling, gardening, photography snorkeling, and RPG gaming, along with many other things. Kim intends to spend more time with her photography and plans to further her education in that area. Dr. George & Kim have a wonderful son, Brendan, who is a graduate of RIT and works in the gaming industry. They also have a very special & spoiled Mini Wire-Hair Dachshund named Ruthie and six Manx Cats, one of which was a rescue.
